For more than forty years, the Ford F-150 has been the best in class for performance and quality. The new 2023 F-150 provides drivers across the US with the most capable and advanced full-size pickup ever. It comes in "Rattler" trim, with performance upgrades like displacement on demand, active sound cancellation, and off road features. Here's a look at what you can get with the 2023 Ford F-150.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
17-inch steel wheels, manually adjustable side mirrors, and pre-wired trailer hookups are included with the base F-150 XL model. Fog lights and 17-inch alloy wheels are added by the XLT, while 18-inch wheels, a Class IV hitch, and LED lighting in the bed are included with the Lariat. Upgrade to the King Ranch for 20-inch wheels, LED headlights, and taillights, or the Platinum for more external chrome trim and power-deployable running boards. 22-inch wheels and a dual-panel sunroof are included on the Limited model.
The first off-road mode is the Tremor. It comes with off-road suspension and 33-inch all-terrain rubber, but you can upgrade to the Raptor for 35-inch all-terrain tires that are bigger, Fox adaptive shocks, and fender flares. 37-inch all-terrain tires are an addition for the Raptor R.
Engine (Power)
The 3.3-liter V-6, which has 290 horsepower as standard, is followed by the 2.7-liter turbo V-6, which has 325 horsepower, and the 5.0-liter V-8, which has 400 horsepower. A 3.5-liter turbo V6 with 400 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque is also an option, and the Raptor's version of this engine produces 450 horsepower. You can get the F-150 with a 430-horsepower hybrid powertrain or a supercharged 5.2-liter V-8 with 700 horsepower in the Raptor R.
Performance
The powertrain, body, and cab of the F-150 affect its ability to tow and payload. The model with the biggest payload capacity has a carrying capacity of up to 3,325 pounds, and the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6 has a maximum towing capability of 14,000 pounds.
Interior
Depending on the cab option, the F-150 can accommodate up to six people. The lowest grades have upholstery made of cloth, whereas the Lariat and above have leather. Additionally, heated back seats, power-adjustable pedals, and power-adjustable front seats are also options. The F-150 has a number of technological features, including a 12-inch touch screen in Lariat and above models, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hotspot, FordPass Connect, and the choice of satellite radio in all trims. Higher trims provide wireless charging, and the Limited has an 18-speaker B&O radio.
Safety Features
Modern safety measures are installed in every 2023 Ford F-150. A frontal collision warning system with automated braking and lane departure warning is standard equipment even on the XL. The XLT adds a lane-keep assistance system, a rear automated braking system, a rear cross-traffic warning, and a blind-spot monitor. Select the King Ranch or above for greater driving assistance. These include evasive steering assistance and adaptive cruise control, and the Platinum model also has a 360-degree surround-view camera.
The Limited additionally has the BlueCruise hands-free driving system and Co-Pilot360 Active 2.0. On a few designated roadways throughout the US, it functions. This package is available as an optional option for the other trims.
